This week we will look at the art of Raphael, Manet, Mickalene Thomas, Luetze, and Colescott. We will compare art through time and create our own modern day versions based on one of these classic works.

What you need:
BOUND 8 1/2 x 11 sketchbook.
We will be using the sketchbooks A LOT this semester... if not everyday.
The better it is bound the better experience you will have.
Glue stick, fine and ultra-fine sharpies, a pencil everyday
Optional:
Color pencils, drawing pencils, colored sharpies, personal sharpener
Questions for blog entries.
You do not need to restate the question but you must answer in full...
1. What medium did you use and why?
2. What was the hardest part? Explain.
3. What was the easiest part? Explain.
4. Do you think you were successful? Explain.
5. What should your grade be? Explain.
If you answer these questions truthfully you will have an understanding of your grade.
Things the art room needs:
-pencils
-kleenex
-baby whipes
-egg catons
-rinsed gallon jugs
-masking tape
-empty glass baby food jars
-bones (any hunters around?)
-old toys
-hand sanitizer
-old shoes
